Why you can't find a PS5 and where to look

I would have to say that this has been one of the worst releases of a console as far as supply goes. The main reason why you either couldn't or can't get your hands on one is because of scalpers. The shortage of consoles is and was all because of these sorry individuals that used bots to scan retailers for Playstation 5 stock and bought as many consoles they could in one swoop, selling the consoles at inflated prices. Eventually this will even out once Sony can pump out more units and get them on the shelves. If you're still looking for one, don't despair, techradar's page provides you with stock updates on all major online and brick and mortar stores. Has anyone gotten their hands on one yet?

Yeah I hate it when this sort of things happens. There seems to always be some kind of problems with scalpers. I haven't gotten one myself, hadn't thought much on it, to be honest. Looks really cool though from what I've seen.

It's been terrible for the consumer, but probably great for Sony. Creates all kinds of hype so when they simply restock they can guarantee selling out whenever they want. Those in the know like yourself or those following the scalper issue closely are just rolling their eyes and are super frustrated. But others not paying much attention are just anxiously awaiting when they can easily buy one, when it's back in stock.
