Making appointment to get Moderna or Pfizer shot

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with making an appointment getting either the Moderna, Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson shot. I know it's been pretty rough recently with the supply rollout and whatnot, but I've actually been hearing of people being able to get theirs more and more in the past couple weeks. Seems like the supplies issues are getting ironed out now so local offices are now started to take appointments.

I called my local office today and wasn't able to make an appointment just yet, but they did say it'll be soon. They said I'm just not eligible yet since they're still only doing 50+ year-olds. I'm going to wait patiently until it's my turn, of course. Just wondering if anyone has been able to easily make an appointment with their local dr office or somewhere else yet. I'm sure there are other places I could try as well.

Being in my 30's with no serious health conditions, I haven't even tried as I expect I won't be able to for a few more months at minimum. But a few of my friend's parents have been able to get up to both shots recently so it looks like the tiered system is working, just have to employ some patience and be on top of making appointments and trying multiple times once your tier group is on deck for supply.

I'm in the same boat, but am happy to wait while more at-risk people get their shots first.

Our elderly neighbors got their first shots yesterday and said it took about 3 hours from start to finish. They got theirs in the economy lot at the Portland airport, which apparently is one of numerous mass vaccination sites here in town. They said it was really well organized, but noted they saw more than a handful of people show frustration at how long everything was taking. All in all they said it was a good experience, but that people should be prepared to wait in line for a bit.

Oregon is still only giving shots to the elderly, educators, and essential workers and will probably be doing so for the next month at a minimum. I'm hoping to get my shot sometime this summer, but I'll certainly get it earlier if the supply becomes available.

I'm not eligible yet either but keeping a close eye on progress. Posted in another thread I'll probably do this at a pharmacy like CVS. Their site shows eligibility and locations and how booked per store, so I think they are a good barometer for how things are going right now to check every so often.

I'm wondering once they get more large scale drive through sites if those will speed up the rollout. You'd think they would be able to get more shots to people than say places like CVS.

Posted this in another thread but works here too:

    Vaccinefinder.org

This seems to be the best place to see where you can go to get a shot and make an appointment. You can search by your zip code and it shows a ton of info like all the places near you that are doing shots, if they have any in stock, if they do which ones, links to make appointments for each location including address, phone number and website for all locations.

    It's all CDC approved.
