The U.S. might begin vaccinating older kids as early as this fall, while elementary-aged kids might get their shots early 2022. Fauci said researchers will more than likely have enough data on immunizations for kids 12 and under by the time 2022 rolls around. This may open up a whole can of worms for those who choose not to vaccinate their kids of anything, let alone the current vaccine. I can definitely see it becoming a required shot in order for children to attend school - much like with the smallpox and mumps shots. Think there will be a lot of controversy over this once it happens?

This is great news. Although it could come a little sooner than later. I definitely see some sparks flying over this though once implemented.

Yeah, there will definitely be some pushback, but that's much to be expected with anything similar. I just hope it doesn't slow progress down.

Good news but means we are another year away from herd immunity as a possibility.
