The James Webb Space Telescope launches October 31st of 2021 and will be replacing the Hubble telescope as NASA's flagship telescope. It's much larger, much more powerful and the design is crazy looking.
The Hubble has been one of the most important tools NASA has ever created and it could last as long as until 2030, or even 2040. But it was first launched in 1990 and of course technology has come a long way since then. Look out for the launch of this awesome new tech, and I can't wait to see what kind of images it's able to get. Big, big deal for NASA.
