Looks like we'll be
listening
to the Martian winds pretty soon. (I hope) NASA's Perseverance rover will be landing next month. One of it's many tasks is to use its microphones to listen the Martian environment. This will be the first effort to collect acoustic data by any spacecraft on Mars, which is pretty exciting. The planet's atmospheric pressure differs greatly from Earth's, which will make for a pretty unique acoustic environment to listen to. I mean, just think, this will be the first time we've ever actually heard anything on another planet, which is pretty wild to think about. So I'll ask the obvious. What do you think it sounds like?

I have no assumptions how does Mars sound. But still, I consider this mission really important and I like the idea of sending there uncrewed missions that is much cheaper and secure for the crew. Looking forward to the results of that mission)

This reminds me alot of the show OA. I won't spoil anything but there's someone trying to find out what the sounds coming from Saturn our. It'd be super interesting to hear what Mars sounds like too.
