piece of Wright Brothers first plane is now on Mars

    I thought this was so cool, that I had to share it. The Martian helicopter Ingenuity which is aboard Perseverance, is holding a swatch of fabric from the 1903 Wright Flyer. The copter will attempt its first powered flight on another planet, which in a was is like the Wright Brothers' first flight. I think this is a pretty touching and cool way to salute two very important pioneers in technology.

    I saw this earlier today too. How awesome is that! Imagine going back and being able to tell them that a piece of that plane would be on Mars. Incredible.
